Experiments on the company's core technology product "Turbocharger" were under way at Keyyang Precision Technology Research Center of Gimcheon Industrial Complex in Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province on June 27. The turbocharger is a part that is installed in an automobile engine and forcibly injects the air required for combustion. It is an indispensable part in improving the fuel efficiency of an automobile engine and in miniaturization and weight reduction. In addition to Gyeyang Precision, only four companies in the world can produce these parts. Keyyang Precision is one of Small Giant Company’s representatives in Korea with this technology.

In addition to being selected as the government's world class 300 company from the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, it has always been a company that sends love calls to members of the executive committee. Keyyang Precision is a technology company with 55 researchers out of 220 in Gimcheon headquarters.

The "craftsmen" who made it possible to have such core technologies as precious things, were testing products together. Choi Sung-bae, technology advisor, Yoon Dong-seok, production team manager, and Choi Byung-man, senior researcher, are key players in the company. These are 'special workers” who have been studying persistently in the local SMEs by burning their youths. It is also true that their technical life has not increased. And it was not easy to find solutions to various noises. “There was no noise and vibration measuring device, and when there was no specialist to teach the technique, I had learned the technique with a squinting "sticking" to a Japanese engineer. However, after years of hard work and effort, I have accumulated noise and vibration technology and since 2008 I have been relieved of the reliance on Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In addition, noise and vibration analysis methods, which are not provided by commercial analytical instruments, are technologically superior to those of competitors who rely on commercial equipment through self-developed programs, and automakers are acknowledging that.

When I hit the wall in the process of technology development, I thought "Why do I have to do this?" But when I solved the problem, the feeling was like "floating in the sky". It is a common idea among these three people that there is a certain confidence that they will be able to stick together with other competitors such as Goliath.
