The Association of High Potential Enterprises of Korea (Chairman Kang Ho-gap, hereinafter referred to as the "AHPEK") held the '2014 Annual General Meeting' at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul on December 26 and decided to amend the Articles of Incorporation for the conversion of legal organizations.

AHPEK will be transformed into a legal organization based on Article 27 of SPECIAL ACT ON THE PROMOTION OF GROWTH AND THE STRENGTHENING OF COMPETITIVENESS OF MIDDLE-STANDING ENTERPRISES (hereinafter referred to as the "Special Act") and Supplementary Provision No. 4 to be implemented on July 22. As a result, AHPEK will be approved by the Small and Medium Business Administration through the approval of the regular general meeting.

With the change of the legal group, the central training school decided to strengthen the role of core partner for promotion of growth and competitiveness of medium enterprises.

Kang Ho-Gap, Chairman of AHPEK, said “It is an important time for us to finish the era of the Korea Midsized Enterprises Association, which has been in operation for 20 years since 1995, and prepare for the formation of a legal group next month." And "We will do our best to represent Korea's midsized companies”
